Seafood Mac and Cheese
A rich and creamy mac and cheese loaded with tender seafood—perfect for a special dinner or whenever you crave a comforting, luxurious twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients
8 oz elbow macaroni (or your favorite pasta)

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

3 cups whole milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup cooked crab meat (or imitation crab, chopped)

1/2 cup cooked scallops (optional)

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions
Cook the pasta: Boil macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the cheese sauce: In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes until golden and bubbly, forming a roux.

Slowly whisk in milk, continuing to stir until the sauce thickens (about 5-7 minutes).

Remove from heat and stir in the Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and cheeses (cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan). Mix until smooth and creamy.

Add seafood: Gently fold in the cooked shrimp, crab meat, and scallops.

Combine pasta and sauce: Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until fully coated.

Bake (optional): Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour mac and cheese into a greased baking dish, sprinkle extra cheese or breadcrumbs on top, and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Garnish and serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy warm!

Tips for Perfect Seafood Mac and Cheese
Use fresh or properly thawed seafood for best flavor.

Adjust the cheese types based on your preference (e.g., add Gruyère or Fontina).

For a crunchy topping, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top before baking.

Serve with a fresh green salad to balance the richness.
