🥘 Garlic Butter Steak & Tortellini Skillet
Ingredients
1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), thinly sliced
1 package (9–12 oz) cheese tortellini
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup baby spinach
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper, to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Cook the Tortellini
Cook tortellini according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the Steak
Season steak slices with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
Remove steak and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, add butter and garlic.
Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
4. Combine Everything
Add cooked tortellini, steak, spinach, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet.
Toss to coat everything in the creamy garlic sauce.
Cook for 2–3 minutes until spinach wilts and tomatoes soften.
Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Serve
Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
