Best Taco Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
2 cups salsa
1 (16 oz) can chili beans, drained
3 cups tortilla chips, crushed
2 cups sour cream
1 (2 oz) can sliced black olives, drained
½ cup chopped green onion
½ cup chopped fresh tomato
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbly, about 8–10 minutes.
Stir in the salsa, reduce the heat, and simmer for 20 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed. Add chili beans and heat through.
Layer crushed tortilla chips evenly on the bottom of the prepared dish.
Spoon the beef and bean mixture over the chips.
Spread sour cream evenly over the meat layer.
Sprinkle with black olives, green onions, and chopped tomatoes.
Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
Serve warm and enjoy!
